Palaeolithic and Mesolithic assemblages from Tunisia

چکیده

With the following short review, we would like to remember our departed German friend and archaeologist Peter Nierling. He conducted several field trips in North Africa, Algeria, Lybia, Tunisia, on two occasions, 1997 1998, one of us (A. P.) accompanied him. During these travels, surveys were carried out mainly region Gafsa. In wider vicinity classical Paleolithic/Mesolithic sites El Mekta (de Gafsa) Lalla Gafsa), unknown archaeological find spots localized. After trips, authors received a relatively great assemblage various content from Nierling enrich Palaeolithic Mesolithic collections Hungarian stone tool research. Although Africa is not specialization, below give brief review assemblages.
